Re/Building the Future, Together
Despite the unprecedented obstacles the COVID-19 pandemic has created, Orange County’s community college career education programs continue to rise to the challenge of supporting students, businesses, and communities while planning for whatever comes next.
In this issue of “Stronger Together,” regional college presidents join us in looking towards the future of career education while celebrating the impact we have made together.
In addition to supporting the development of innovative new career education pathways and programs, we are especially proud of the fact that regional career education enrollments have seen significant growth since our marketing efforts began. This is wonderful news because it means more students are getting the education they need to build safer and more secure careers and more businesses are getting the well-educated workers they need to thrive.
As the negative economic impacts of this pandemic continue to cause chaos across the globe, one thing is certain: Orange County’s community college career education programs will play a key role in the economic recovery of the region. As always, we look forward to re/building this future, together.
Sincerely,
Gustavo Chamorro, Ed.D.
Orange County Director, Los Angeles Orange County Regional Consortium
